Co-organized with Singapore International Foundation (SIF), Temporary Local, and Kidzstarter,
Climate Hack was a five-month program run from September 2024 to February 2025 that equipped 253
participants from 34 countries with awareness and knowledge of climate issues and core skills to
develop digital solutions for climate change.
With the support of volunteer partners (Cognizant, DataKind Singapore, Jalan Journey, and
TheOneHourProject) and individual volunteers, participants benefitted from the following:
- A half-day Climate Conference with four thematic breakout sessions
- Digital skills workshops and technical consultations covering data science, AI, app development,
storytelling, marketing, and game design
- Problem-solving workshops addressing systems thinking, advocacy, behavior change, and
entrepreneurial thinking
- Team mentors and access to pitch coaching sessions
The program closed with Pitch Day, where four winning teams were awarded with a fully-funded
three-day learning journey to Singapore.
